ABOUT FILMG

FilmG is an annual short-film competition that finds, nurtures, and develops new talent for Gaelic media.

Since launching in 2008, FilmG has served as a springboard for many successful media careers, within BBC ALBA and beyond.

With dedicated competitions for both under 18 and over 18, the FilmG team offers workshops and support for films at any level.

Independent judges evaluate the films, with the winners announced at an awards ceremony in February.

FilmG is proudly owned by MG ALBA and delivered by the Gaelic agency Astar.
